[AISWorld] Call for Chapters (Springer book): Information Systems Research in Vietnam

Dear IS colleagues,
We are inviting you to submit a chapter for an Edited book, titled: Information Systems Research in Vietnam: A Shared Vision and New Frontiers, Edited by: Dr. Nguyen Hoang Thuan, Dr. Duy Dang-Pham, Dr. Le Hoanh-Su, Associate Professor Tuan Q Phan. The book will be published on Springer Nature.
We welcome premium quality submissions that focus on advanced IS research in the context of Vietnam, including cases, applications, the current frontiers and future IS directions, and how to ensure our research can be designed to meet the current IS research trends.

Information Systems Case Studies

*        Demonstration of how digital technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things, virtual/augmented reality, robotic process automation) shape new business models and opportunities

*        Application of digital technologies while accounting for organizational factors and the Vietnam context

*        Examples of successful design and implementation of digital technologies

*        Demonstration of successful digital transformation in Vietnam

Target dates

*        Abstract submission (500‐word):                                          1st August 2021

*        Abstract notification:                                                            1st September 2021

*        Chapter submission:                                                            1st November 2021

*        Chapter notification:                                                            6th January 2022

*        Re-submission of chapter:                                                   1st March 2022

*        Subsequent rounds of reviewing will be considered

*        Submission of final book to Springer for publication: Second Quarter of 2022

*        The abstract should contain the following.

o   Title and list of author(s)

o   Introduction, including objectives and contributions of the research

o   Brief literature review

o   Methodology/Method

o   Results or anticipated results

o   References are not included in the word count

Upon acceptance of the abstract, further instructions for submission guidelines according to the Springer will be communicated.
