We would like to invite you to participate in the new Pinscreen Best Paper Award in Digital Humans, AI agents, and Neural Rendering at HICSS-55 conference. Here is the details of this award.
Pinscreen Best Paper Award in Digital Humans, AI Agents, and Neural Rendering
This award is to encourage the research into the visualization and application of digital human characters in the context of e-commerce and social media. The goal is to encourage researchers and practitioners from diverse background to share their research and explore this rich new area of interaction and e-commerce. Submissions on the topic on or closely related to digital human, agents and neural rendering will have the chance of being nominated and considered for this award. The award will be awarded by a panel of experts and includes a cash prize of US$500 and promotion of the research and researchers online.
The award is sponsored by Pinscreen, a research-based startup that builds cutting edge AI-driven virtual avatar technologies. The company is built on computer graphics and computer vision research which focuses on digitizing humans and capturing their performances for immersive communication, telepresence in virtual worlds, and entertainment. This research typically involves the development of novel deep learning, data-driven, and geometry processing algorithms. Pinscreen has a long association with pure academic research and is known for its seminal work in avatar creation, facial animation, hair digitization, dynamic shape processing, as well as recent efforts in preventing the spread of malicious deep fakes.
This award is open to papers from any Track at HICSS55. One example of the minitracks that fit the topic of this award is Actors, Agents, and Avatars minitrack in the Internet and Digital Economy.
