Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to inform that that 5 IS journals from AIS basket have been upgraded in the 2021 edition of the CABS Academic Journal Guide, which has just been published.

JAIS has been upgraded from 4 to 4* (journal of distinction)
EJIS, ISJ, JIT and JSIS have been upgraded from 3 to 4.

We see this as a huge recognition of the quality of AIS Basket (not always understood outside our discipline), and we hope that it will help colleagues with tenure and promotion decisions. The CABS AJG, while based in the UK, has global influence.

We would like to thank the College of Senior Scholars for their guidance and support during the consultation over the past year, and the wider community with whom we’ve spoken to at conferences.
