The Software and Requirements Engineering group
(SAREC)http://sarec.nd.edu) at the University of Notre Dame is hiring
a Postdoctoral Researcher for our project on Safety Analysis in
Evolving Software Systems. This is a requirements engineering and
safety analysis project, funded by the National Science Foundation

Computer Science and Engineering Department within the College of
Engineering.

The postdoctoral researcher will play a key leadership role in
designing and evaluating software engineering techniques, algorithms,
and tools for supporting safety analysis across both agile and
non-agile development environments. They will engage in research
activities, help oversee tool development, and will have the
opportunity to participate in a related commercialization effort. A
solid background in systems requirements, software engineering, and
programming is preferred. People interested in pursuing an academic
career are particularly encouraged to apply, as previous postdocs in
our research group have continued into academic positions. Our
research group is team-focused with plenty of opportunities for
collaboration with students and with researchers at other
institutions.
