[AISWorld] PhD Research Position - Design for Responsible AI - University of Agder Norway

Funded research opportunity for those interested to investigate the 
design of tools to enable users understand, appropriately trust, and 
effectively handle AI. The position is linked to the AI4Users project 
<https://ai4users.uia.no/>which is funded by the Research Council of 
Norway and focuses on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in 
the public sector. The project is led by the University of Agder in 
partnership with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology 
(NTNU) and the University of Oslo.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with an interest on 
responsible AI, ability to apply design research approaches, and 
knowledge of user-centred design methods and prototyping techniques.

The position is within the Department of Information Systems. The 
Department provides teaching and research at the intersection of 
technology, organizing and business administration. With around 45 
employees it is one of the largest information systems research groups 
in Norway and highly regarded in the AIS community. It provides a 
positive, inclusive and diverse working environment, modern facilities 
and a comprehensive set of welfare offers. The candidate will be 
involved with the activities in the Centre for Digital Transformation 
(CeDiT).
