Hello Doctoral Students:

Greetings from the AIS Doctoral Student College!

We are taking a new approach to our next mentorship event. It's titled "The PhD Journey: Advice from Recent Grads" and will be held on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, from 10:00am - 11:00am Eastern US Time via Remo. We reached out to a great selection of recent graduates who are eager to share their advice with you.

After our opening remarks, using Remo, faculty mentors will be placed at a table with a specific topic to discuss. Sample topics include First/Second Year Strategy, Dissertation Process, Job Market Strategy, European/EMEA Program Strategy. Much like our previous events, students will have a chance to interact with the faculty to obtain guidance on their Ph.D. program journey. Remo allows students to come and go at different tables so you will have the opportunity to get advice on a wide range of topics.

To sign-up for the event, please go to https://live.remo.co/e/ais-doctoral-student-college and click on “Safe me a spot” to RSVP. Once you RSVP you will receive a confirmation email with the event details and a calendar invitation.

This is a great free event that we are offering, so please spread the word and sign up to join us on October 26th!

If you have any questions, please email them to correia at gonzaga.edu.

Sincerely,

Jessica Pye, John Correia, and Mahesh Boodraj
