FULL-TIME TENURE TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONS

The largest accredited collegiate school of business in the United States, Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business has earned a national and international reputation for excellence. It offers nationally ranked undergraduate, part-time and full-time MBA programs, specialized masters, and doctoral programs. The Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics offers undergraduate majors and minors in Information Systems (IS) and in Statistics and Quantitative Modeling (SQM), four specialized MS degrees in IS, Business Analytics, Statistics, and Quantitative Methods and Modeling and a PhD in IS. Faculty members are active in research and have been published in the top journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, JMIS, and EJIS, among others. The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York is seeking applicants for two tenure track faculty positions in Information Systems in the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics. Preference will be given to applicants with specializations in the areas of cloud computing and data analytics. The positions are available at the Assistant Professor level only and begin in the Fall semester of 2022. The tenure-track faculty members will be expected to do the following: Perform teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise, as well as share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must either have or expect completion of Ph.D. in Information Systems or related fields. We welcome applicants conducting research in all areas, but applicants should preferably be able to develop and teach courses in cloud computing and/or data analytics, such as big data, data warehousing, and data mining, among others.
