*DEADLINE APPROACHING*
*Call for Mini-Track Proposals*
IS in Education, IS Curriculum, Education and Teaching Cases (SIGED)
*Track Description*:
Information systems (IS) educators face a number of challenges in the
today's environment including declining enrollments, the challenges of
preparing students for changes in the profession, the need to integrate new
ideas and technologies into courses and curriculum and the challenges of
navigating IS education in the unique and increasingly uncertain landscape
we find ourselves in today. These challenges and opportunities make sharing
IS education-related knowledge and practices especially critical. This
track provides an opportunity for IS educators and researchers to exchange
ideas, techniques, and applications through a combination of workshops,
panels, and paper presentations, and we are seeking mini-tracks that will
solicit engaging work aimed at addressing a specific focal area within this
context.
If accepted, mini-track chairs will be expected to:
- Promote their mini-track to generate manuscript submissions to the
conference
- Solicit and assign reviewers for manuscripts submitted to the mini
-track
- Provide a summary report to authors based on reviews
- Make recommendations to Track chairs about each manuscript submitted
to the mini-track
- Nominate best papers and best reviewers
To submit your mini-track proposals, go to
