The 12th International Conference on Software Business ICSOB will be held 1st-3rd December 2021. The conference is hosted by Business school, University of South East Norway (USN) - Campus Drammen and conference will be fully online. 1st December is a Startup Day and 2nd-3rd December will be Academic Days.

The special theme of ICSOB2021 is Software Sustainability. Research about software sustainability addresses sustainability concerns regarding aspects such as software product, software development process, strategy and policy, people, partnership, ecosystem, and business model. Sustainability is derived from the concept of sustainable development and is defined by the World Commission on Environment and Development as "a process of change in which the exploitation of resources, the direction of investments, the orientation of technological development, and institutional change are made consistent with future as well as present needs". We are seeing that there is an urgent need for sustainability management in many domains and areas, including software business, and we are happy to invite both scholars and practitioners to share their ideas, questions and knowledge around the topic in this year's ICSOB.
