The Department of Management, Information Systems and Entrepreneurship (MISE) in the Carson College of Business at Washington State University in Pullman, WA is seeking qualified candidates for one full-time non-tenure track position in  Information Systems. The rank is open, and although we anticipate hiring at the assistant level, we are also open to exceptional candidates at higher ranks. The term of appointment is a nine-month academic year, beginning on August 16, 2022. Salary and benefits are competitive. An earned Ph.D., DBA, or master's degree in Information Systems or closely aligned field from a nationally or internationally recognized university by time of hire is expected.

The successful candidate will be capable of teaching various required and elective information systems courses and to make rank-appropriate service contributions to the department, college, university, and community The standard teaching load is six courses per year (3 per semester) for individuals who wish to publish pedagogical and practice research, and eight courses per year (4 per semester) for those who wish to focus on teaching and service only. We are also in the process of evaluating our upper-division curriculum to ensure it is providing the best education for our students, and there is an opportunity for a new hire to engage in this process.
