Call for Workshops & Panel Sessions

 

We invite scholars and practitioners to submit proposals for workshops and
panel sessions to be presented at PACIS 2022. We welcome workshops offered
by researchers and practitioners on specific topics relevant to the field of
information systems. We also welcome panels that provide a forum for debate
and discussion of current issues in research, practice, and teaching. We
invite proposals on all aspects of the conference theme: Artificial
Intelligence, Information Systems, in Pacific Asia.

 

Workshops will be held on Monday, July 4, 2022. It is scheduled as a
whole-day virtual meeting from 8:30 am to 5:30pm (Taipei time). Panel
sessions will be on July 8 (Friday) and July 9 (Saturday). The scheduling of
panels will be determined based on submissions.

 


Proposal Submissions


Proposal submissions for workshops or panel sessions should include the
following information:

.          Title of the proposed workshop or panel session

.          List of the organizer(s) and presenter(s) with their short bios

.          Brief description on primary audience being targeted and expected
number of participants

.          For workshops: A description of the workshop including objectives
and planned activities 

.          For panel sessions: A description of the topic to be debated or
discussed and a brief position statement  for each of the panelists.

 

Proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the track chairs.


 


Important Dates


Deadline for workshop and panel session proposal submission: March 1, 2022
Notification of proposal acceptance: May 1, 2022
Presentation materials from all presenters: June 15, 2022
Workshops: July 4, 2022

Panel sessions: July 8, 2022 and July 9, 2022
