The dawn of a new age represents an immense challenge for mankind. The era of a creative society is dawning with the global obligation to organise our economic activities in a new and sustainable way and to define our coexistence as a society differently, namely as Society 5.0 - a human-centered society that balances economic advancement with the resolution of social problems by integrating digital space and physical space.
The Society 5.0 conference 2022 is the second of an annual interdisciplinary conference serious combining research and practices. It brings together researchers, practitioners, and thought leaders to present and discuss their most recent research results, innovations, experiences, concerns, challenges, and trends and also enables conversations and the exchange of ideas between academics, industry practitioners and the public. Therefore, <Creating the future together> is meant to be an option to provide an informal environment to learn and trigger discussion. After the challenges of the lockdowns and during these times of great change it is as important as ever for us to come together and share what we have learned over the last years.
Research Track
For the main conference, we invite submissions of unpublished research papers describing original research contributions related to <Society 5.0>. Submissions addressing topics across the spectrum of <Society 5.0>, on issues of concern to researchers or practitioners or both are welcome. Society 5.0 is a broad subject and therefore the list of topics covers many related subject areas. Submissions are sought on, but not limited to the following subject areas and topics:
* Business and Entrepreneurship
* Business Information Systems
* Cyber-Physical Systems
* Diversity
* Education
* Fintech
* Healthcare and Care Systems
* Human-Systems Interaction Scenarios
* Information Security
* Innovation
* Intelligent Information Systems
* International Collaboration
* Mobility
* Sustainabiltiy
For more information of the topics see https://www.conference-society5.org/call-for-papers/research-track
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by an international program committee based on relevance, significance, rigor, novelty, replicability, and quality.
Practice Track
The Practice Track of the Society 5.0 conference provides an opportunity to share practical experience through a paper and an accompanying talk. Submissions can be Practice Reports or Case Descriptions. A Practice Report is a reflection of industry experiences including challenges seen, approaches taken - and what worked or didn't. Cases describe problems or challenges of organizations (private or public), relate them to the wider domain of Society 5.0 and provide useful insights to practitioners and scholars. All submissions will be peer reviewed.
Publication
Accepted research papers and submission to the practice track will be published in a volume of EPiC Series in Computing<https://easychair.org/publications/EPiC/Computing>, an open access series, which is indexed in Scopus.
Submission
Papers should be submitted in PDF format using EasyChair submission page:
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=society502022

Authors must consult the instructions for authors<https://easychair.org/publications/for_authors> of the Easychair EPiC Series and should use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX<https://easychair.org/publications/easychair.zip> or for Word<https://easychair.org/publications/easychair.docx>, for the preparation of their papers.
