Hello
We've just launched our first few evening talks of 2022!
Tickets for TechTalks at the Centre are just £5, (or half-price for annual pass holders!) and all of the proceeds go towards the museum's work.
We've got a great line-up so far. Whether you're into 3D art, typography, video game and software preservation, or working with microcontrollers - we've got something for you!

Thursday 10th March, 7pmMatt will discuss his University studies and how he started working on live projects for clients alongside 9 years of lecturing at higher education institutes. He will also talk about making his own game as well as his current job role as a senior 3D artist at Vegas City. Friday 1st April, 7pmToshi Omagari is a typeface designer from Japan, now living and working in London. He will be talking about his passion for fonts, his experiences in typography and exploring a largely unnoticed aspect of retro games: the lettering used with every "Insert Coin".Thursday 12th May, 7pmJonathan Pallant is an embedded systems engineer, born and bred just outside Cambridge.
Join Jonathan for a journey through a brief history of computing, and a look inside the DOS he is writing to run on common-or-garden Arm microcontrollers.Friday 10th June, 7pmThis talk will cover the methods used to preserve our computing legacy, and how we can help with this endeavour. We end with a brief overview of the work the museum is doing, and what issues lie ahead when trying to preserve the current generation of computing.BOOK NOW!
We hope to see you soon!
