Dear colleagues,

The upcoming INFORMS Annual Meetings will be hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA during October 16-19, 2022. We are delighted to invite session chairs in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) cluster at INFORMS 2022. We encourage proposals that range over theories, applications, and methodologies of Artificial Intelligence in addressing relevant issues of research and practice. Chairing a session is a great way to serve the community, interact people with common interests, and discuss interesting research and practical problems.

As a crucial role for the success of the conference, session chairs are trusted to propose the theme of a session, invite 4 speakers, and run the 75-minute session for the event. Note that INFORMS limits speakers to ONE presentation at this year’s annual meeting.

To facilitate the scheduling, important due dates are supplied below.
March 14: Deadline for collecting the intention of Session Chairs
May 2: Deadline for Session Chairs to invite Presenters
May 16: Deadline for Presenters to submit abstracts
June 29: Deadline for Presenters’ registration

If you are interested in chairing a session, please kindly reply to hzhong at escp.eu by March 14th, with a tentative session title and favorably a brief description (optional). We look forward to your session proposals!

Whether you are available for chairing a session or not, we would appreciate your help forwarding this opportunity onto other interested individuals or suggesting names whom we should specifically invite to chair a session.

Thank you very much for your contribution!

Best Regards,
