The Information Systems (IS) group at ESSEC Business School invites
applications for the "Digitalization and Information Systems" concentration
of ESSEC’s PhD program. ESSEC offers PhD scholarships fully covering
tuition fees, as well as providing generous stipends (23,000 euros/year)
along with research and conference budgets, for talented students of
various backgrounds and from around the world, on the basis of research
potential and academic achievement.

Faculty in ESSEC’s IS group (with ten full-time faculty) conduct research
on a variety of current topics, including platform strategies, blockchain,
AI, and data analytics, using qualitative, quantitative, and
design-oriented methods. In the latest research rankings of the Association
for Information Systems, ESSEC ranks third in Europe/Africa/Middle East
based on publications in the six leading IS journals in the period from
2017 to 2021. For more information about ESSEC’s IS faculty please visit

Singapore, and Morocco) and international network of outstanding partner

academic community. Our location in the suburbs of Paris provides easy
