[AISWorld] Cybersecurity Emergent Research Symposium

Dear All,

The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) is pleased to announce the Cybersecurity Emergent Research Symposium (CERS), which will foster the development of novel ideas in the context of corporate cybersecurity. CERS will offer a venue for students and aspiring researchers to showcase their cutting-edge cybersecurity research. CERS is a developmental program that includes involvement and feedback from panelists.

Up to eight promising research topics will be chosen by the CERS evaluation committee for in-person development work in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Each of these eight projects will be mentored by an expert who will assist in the creation of the manuscript for publication. These articles will be considered for speedy publication in Emerald Publishing's Organizational Cybersecurity Journal (OCJ).

The event does not have a registration charge. The symposium will provide/cover travel costs for participants (one per team), including hotel and food.

Submission guidelines, dates, and topics:

  1.  Format: Abstract (500 words) along with Video presentation (5 slides, 5 minutes)
  2.  Due date: April 3rd, 2022, 11:59 pm Anywhere on Earth (AoE)
  3.  Acceptance decision: April 10th, 2022
  4.  Symposium date: May 5th – 6th , 2022
  5.  Topics: Cybersecurity governance, strategy, and policy, Managing information security, Behavioral and cognitive cybersecurity, Secure use of emergent technologies, Critical infrastructure, Digital forensics in organizations
