Dear MAB Community,
After a much-needed break following our most well-attended event to date (https://mab23.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=8cfdd88c1ac384d3d832dc09b&id=5ff14bf8a3&e=f396b40b5a) , it’s time for us to look forward to the next iteration of the world’s premier event on media architecture, urban interaction design, and urban informatics: the Media Architecture Biennale 2023 in Toronto.

The event, taking place in June/July of 2023 (dates TBD) will feature a mix of online and in-person opportunities to engage with architects, artists, designers, leading thinkers on urban design, key industry and government representatives, and community activists to explore the design and role of media and technology in the built environment.

We’ve been busy setting up organizing and advisory committees (https://mab23.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=8cfdd88c1ac384d3d832dc09b&id=0059ccbe06&e=f396b40b5a) for the event and drafting themes (https://mab23.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=8cfdd88c1ac384d3d832dc09b&id=3c90643536&e=f396b40b5a) that will guide the development of calls for all of the things that have become hallmarks of the Biennale: workshops, academic papers, keynotes, student projects, symposia, awards, and more. You’ll hear more from us about all of these things in the coming months.
