Dear colleagues
Please consider participating in the 2022 IS Job Index.
https://isjobindex.com<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fisjobindex.com%2F&data=04%7C01%7Cmunir.mandviwalla%40temple.edu%7C4e65cdc01c594aad8fe308da0ae5ad6d%7C716e81efb52244738e3110bd02ccf6e5%7C0%7C0%7C637834278818298319%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=fd%2BxNF1gAFs6eii559Cr1QrEIIHq4XLqmj0bdMLWH%2Bs%3D&reserved=0> summarizes IS jobs, salaries, industries, demographics, knowledge, and resource use from more than 1700+ students from 43 universities across the U.S from 2019.
The 2019 index, following the 2013, 2015, 2017 reports broke new ground in reach outside the field. More than 7000 postcards and 2500 print reports were distributed to deans, senior executives, and academics. To date, isjobindex.com has received close to 40,000 unique views, and the full report has been downloaded thousands of times. All of this activity promotes the IS field and gets the word out about how well we are doing! Continuing the two-year cycle, with a one-year break for the pandemic, we plan to publish the 2022 IS Job Index in fall 2022.
The following schools have already agreed to participate: American University, ASU, Bentley, Boston University, BYU, Cal State Long Beach, Carnegie Mellon, Colorado State, Duquesne, FIU, George Mason, GSU, Iowa State, Northern Kentucky, Rider, San Jose State, Temple, Towson, University of Alabama, University of Arizona, University of Arkansas, University of Colorado Denver, University of Dayton, University of Delaware, University of Georgia, University of Houston, University of Memphis, University of Minnesota, University of Nevada, University of Oklahoma, University of South Florida, University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas at Dallas, University of Virginia, Washington State, Western Michigan University, and others.
There is a $495 registration fee which includes (1) participation and featured as one of the participating schools on the website, and print report with school logo, (2) custom excel file of your school's raw data, which allows for benchmarking, (3) $200 as $10 amazon gift cards, which are given to the first 20 participating students from your school, and (4) three printed copies of the national report.
The reason for the modest fee, even though there is financial support from AIS and Temple University's Institute for Business and Information Technology<https://ibit.temple.edu/>, is because the project is large in scope, including data collection, tabulation, analysis, custom reports for each school, professional design, printing, and mailing. The labor is covered by Temple's IBIT corporate sponsor. Your funds go towards student gift cards for your students, and for design, printing, and distribution.
We need to close the enrollment period shortly, so please let us know by Friday 03/25 if you are interested.
