SECOND CALL



The AMCIS executive committee approved a new service award this year recognizing outstanding contributions to AMCIS. As this is the inaugural year, we've decided to extend the deadline for nominations one more week. The call for nominations is below.



The AMCIS Outstanding Conference Service Leadership Committee elects AIS Outstanding Conference Service Leadership Award winners to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the form of service leadership to AMCIS. The winner of this award should show substantial engagement with AMCIS conferences and/or AMCIS ancillary events in a leadership position over a period of time (minimally, over two or years or conferences). Nominees must be in good AIS membership standing with the association at the time of the award. Potential considerations for nominations:



  *   Impact on conference

  *   Contribution over a period of time

  *   Involvement in multiple roles

  *   Contribution to community via AMCIS involvement

  *   Time commitment required for the position(s) served
