The McIntire School of Commerce and Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia invite applications for up to four full-time, Research Associate positions beginning August 2022 and beyond. The Postdoctoral Research Associate (PRA) roles are made possible by a university-wide Mellon Foundation Grant on Race, Place, and Equity<https://www.virginia.edu/content/glancenews-new-%E2%80%98race-place-and-equity%E2%80%99-program> to advance research, creative practice, and teaching related to race, place, and equity. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in a relevant field by the start date of the appointment and demonstrate potential for strong research in areas related to race, diversity, equity, and inclusion in an organizational, business, leadership, or public policy related discipline.
We are looking broadly for candidates that are interested in race, place, and equity issues. This may include topic such as:
AI Ethics and Equity
Gender and/or race studies in IS/IT
How digital technologies affect inequality and justice
Social justice and digital; technology
And many other relevant topics.
