IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca invites applications for ten
fully-funded Ph.D. positions in Software Quality. Working closely
together with IMT's SySMA group [1], successful candidates will be able
to pursue research towards methods for analyzing both functional
properties, i.e., program correctness, and extra-functional ones such as
usability, accessibility, reliability, performance, and security. 

We welcome outstanding applicants interested in software quality from
several areas of computer science, including formal methods, machine
learning, modeling and simulation, program verification, cybersecurity,
and software engineering.   
The positions are fully funded for three years, with the possibility of
a scholarship extension of up to one year. Successful applicants will
receive a salary of ca. EUR 1,300.00 per month. In addition, they will
enjoy free full board accommodation at the stunning IMT campus located
in the heart of Lucca. 
IMT Lucca fosters an international environment. The working language is
English.
