The Institute of Social Sciences and Applied Informatics at Vilnius University Kaunas Faculty is looking for candidates to apply for Postdoctoral Fellowship under Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (MSCA PF).

Applications will be prepared in consultations with chosen candidates. The candidates are expected to solicit their interest by August 1st at the latest. The deadline for MSCA PF application is September 14.

Postdoctoral Fellowship under MSCA PF Program is funded according to the following budget categories:

Living allowance: EUR 5 080 * 0.728  country income index adjustment (LT) = EUR 3 698  (per person-month, gross)
Mobility allowance: EUR 600 (per person-month)
Family allowance (if applicable): EUR 660 (per person-month)

Kaunas Faculty is an academic subunit of Vilnius University located in Kaunas - a compact and vibrant city hosting several large universities and located in the heart of Lithuania.  

Kaunas Faculty employs 65 staff, 2 post-docs, and 25 doctoral students in three different fields of science: Information Technology, Humanities, and Social Sciences.


A broad range of topic can be considered for this Postdoctoral Fellowship. Candidates are expected to have interest in current topic, preferably at the intersection of Management Sciences and Information Technologies.

Some suggested topics:

Regulatory Technologies (RegTech)
* the mutual effects of IT and organizational processes;
* the effects of IT on emergence [or] deployment of novel business models;
* the effects of external to the enterprise IT environment (e.g., social media) on the firm’s regulatory function;
* the role of IT in ensuring firm’s compliance to external regulatory forces;
* the mutual effects of the introduction of weakly structured IT systems and the company [management] processes/

Industry 4.0
* the [mutual] effects of IT and organizational change process (seeking efficiency/performance boost);
* the [mutual] effects of the introduction of disruptive nascent technologies on [sustainability of] organizational management [or knowledge management];

Meta-human systems
* the [mutual] effects of introduction of learning technologies and control-ability of the enterprise management tasks [or] function;
* the effects of attribution of intelligence and acquisition of learning capability to machines on reflective expertise of humans in organizational management context.
