Dear Colleagues:

As the EIC of I&M, I would like to provide you with several recent news about our journal, I&M.

1.      Appointments of New Senior Editors
We are delighted to update the community that two scholars have kindly agreed to join the editorial board of I&M as Senior Editor starting 1 July 2022.  They are Carol Hsu from the University of Sydney, Australia and Jose Benitez from EDHEC, France.  Both of them have been Associate Editors of the journal for many years and have tremendous contributions to the journal in their AE roles. With both of them on board, the Journal now has three Senior Editors, one from each AIS region, with Han Zhang from Region 1, Jose Benitez from Region 2 and Carol Hsu from Region 3.

2.      Appointments of New Associate Editors
We are also delighted to announce that 13 scholars become Associate Editors starting 1 July 2022. They are:

3.      Release of Impact Factor 2021
The 2021 Journal Citation Reports have just been released.  We are pleased to update colleagues that the impact factor of I&M has increased from 5.155 in 2019 to 7.555 in 2020 to 10.328 in 2021.  With this 2021 figure, it places I&M as the 3rd (out of 84 journals) in the field of Information Science & Library Science, the 7th (out of 164 journals) in the field of Computer Science & Information Systems, and the 18th (out of 226 journals) in the field of Management.

4.      Release of CiteScore 2021
The 2021 CiteScore have also been released.  The CiteScore of I&M has increased from 11.0 in 2019 to 12.3 in 2020 to 13.1 in 2021.  With this 2021 figure, it places I&M as the 4th (out of 135 journals) in the field of business, management & accounting - management information systems, the 7th (out of 140 journals) in the field of Decision Sciences - Information Systems and Management, and the 14th (out of 389 journals) in the field of Computer Science - Information systems.

We look forward to your continued support to make further contributions to our discipline by getting more high-quality research work to the Journal with high impact to not only the academic world but also the society at large.
