The Gary W. Rollins College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites applications for a (open rank) Professor of Practice in Data Analytics position beginning August 2023.  This is a non-tenure-track faculty position renewable annually based on satisfactory performance and budget.  Responsibilities for this position include teaching 12 credit hours per semester and actively participating in professional activities sufficient to maintain appropriate qualifications under AACSB standards. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.  Preference will be given to qualified candidates who apply before September 15, 2022.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in data analytics, information systems, or a closely related field and demonstrated teaching ability in undergraduate and/or graduate level courses using a variety of modalities including online.

The College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga received the largest philanthropic gift in the history of UTC from Gary W. Rollins and Kathleen Rollins of Atlanta. Chattanooga, the fourth largest city in the state, is located in southeast Tennessee near the Georgia border.
