Information Systems and Security department at the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University has an opening for an Assistant Professor of Information Systems. The Department of Information Systems and Security consists of 25+ full-time faculty members. Our department offers undergraduate BBA degrees in Information Systems, Information Security and Assurance, and supports the BS and MS in Cybersecurity. At the graduate level, the department offers MS in Digital Financial Technologies (FINTECH), MS in Information Systems, MS in Healthcare Management and Informatics, and a Ph.D. program.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor of Information Systems faculty position in the Department of Information Systems and Security. This position begins as early as January 1, 2023.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include: teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in FinTech and Information Systems (e.g., digital payments, blockchain for business, emerging FinTech technologies, application development, business analytics, etc.), research and scholarship in the area of expertise, and professional service to the Department, College, and University.

Responsibilities will include a 3/3 teaching load (negotiable), scholarship, and service. The teaching load will focus on FinTech related curriculum but can include classes in the area of Information Systems. The teaching load can be reduced based on research publications productivity.
