<https://ischool.cci.fsu.edu/> (iSchool) seeks to fill one (1) nine-month
tenure-track faculty position in Information, at the Assistant Professor
level. Review of applications will begin on November 1, 2022 and continue
until the position is filled.



*Responsibilities*



We are seeking faculty colleagues with interdisciplinary, sociotechnical
systems research interests. Candidates should be able to articulate a
research agenda that fits within the broader research interests of the
iSchool and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a highly
interdisciplinary environment. Portfolios of research and teaching could
include *human-computer interaction*, *cybersecurity*, *human-centered
computing*, *user experience* (UX), *data management*, *data science*, *social
and cultural informatics*.



Successful applicants will be expected to teach at all levels, including
courses in the school’s bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs;
experience with teaching online, as well as face-to-face, is preferred.
Faculty typically teach 2 courses per semester (fall and spring) each
academic year. All faculty members are expected to advise students and to
serve on School, College, and University committees.
