In a few short weeks, we are welcoming information systems scholars and
students from around the world to Copenhagen, Denmark for ICIS 2022. Early
bird registration is open, and we invite you to join us on December 10-14,
2022 as we engage with our conference theme: "Digitization for the Next
Generation." If you have already registered for the conference, we can't
wait to see you there. If you are still deciding if you want to attend,
here are a few reasons you should make the journey to the Bella Center in
Copenhagen for ICIS 2022.
1. An outstanding program: Our program chairs (with the support of hundreds
of track chairs, associate editors, and reviewers) have curated a
collection of completed papers, teaching cases, short papers, panels, and
professional development workshops to encourage and stimulate research
opportunities.
2. A world-class keynote speaker: Gain insights from a thought leader on
technology issues and policies, Executive Vice-President for the European
Commission, Margrethe Vestager.
3. Pre-and post-conference events for everyone: Participate in events
developed to promote community engagement. There are consortia and
workshops for doctoral students, early career faculty, and mid-career
faculty. You can also attend workshops hosted by AIS communities and other
groups on a range of research topics.
4. In-person networking opportunities: Reconnect with friends and
colleagues in person and make new connections during the welcome reception,
social event, and networking breaks.
5. Experience an outstanding city: In just about any "best city" list,
you'll find Copenhagen at or near the top. With the metro station a short
walk from the conference center and conference hotel, you can enjoy the
fantastic dining and sites the city has to offer.
