You have recently completed your PhD in Information Systems (or a related
discipline) and are now looking for an opportunity to further develop your
profile? The Information Systems group at the Faculty of Business and
Economics at the University of Bremen is hiring and we are looking for you
to join our team as a
Researcher with Tenure Track to Senior Researcher (f/m/d)
Reference number LK 286/22
When joining our growing information systems team, you will become part of a
vibrant scholarly community and collaborate on a range of exciting
initiatives. At the heart of our group lies a keen interest in how
digitalization shapes the work of tomorrow and our team currently researches
topics such as digital innovation and digital transformation, work and
workplaces of the future, and digital ethics and responsibility. We are also
building strong links to the faculty's entrepreneurship area through
studying digital business models and are collaborating actively with the
university's Data Science Center to better understand how data-driven
decision-making impacts managerial practices. As one of our current key
projects, we leverage these topics to develop a unique profile for our new
master study program on Management Information Systems - in cooperation with
our Faculty for Mathematics and Computer Science - which we also consider to
be an exciting opportunity to truly digitalize learning in cooperation with
our students. Beyond these, we leverage the faculty's graduate program on
Diginomics to engage in a collegiate discourse that allows us to share our
experiences and support each other's work. We further make use of exciting
opportunities such as contributing to the interdisciplinary research network
on Minds, Media, Machines.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
> You address research questions related to information systems that lead to
high-level publications in relevant international journals.
> You teach independently and offer courses related to management
information systems.
> You participate in the expansion of study programs of the Faculty of
Business Studies and Economics, also regarding the development of new

> You raise competitive third-party funds.
> You participate in the academic self-government.
