teaching in both traditional classroom as well as online modes, and at both
graduate and undergraduate levels.

The School has a new Business Technology & Analytics undergraduate
concentration that is attracting a growing number of students, currently at
over 300 (Fall, 2022). The concentration uniquely blends business and
analytics education. The current position is one of a number of hires in
this area. The position entails teaching primarily in the Business
Technology & Analytics concentration, conducting high quality academic
research, and making rank-appropriate service contributions. Candidates
whose teaching and research complements, or augments, that of our faculty,
or that aligns with the strategic mission of the School, are viewed as a
plus. In addition, the School seeks candidates whose research, teaching,
service or life experience has prepared them to contribute to our
commitment to justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.

The School is an AACSB-accredited institution, has a commitment to both
research and teaching, and was recently ranked by the Princeton Review as
“one of the best universities to major in business.” The school serves over
3,600 students, and grants more graduate degrees than any other university
in Oregon. The school’s active involvement with the region’s strong and
growing entrepreneurial enterprises in areas such as the thriving high-tech
community, the national food industry, the athletic and outdoor industry,
real estate, service, and manufacturing industries provides numerous
research opportunities for faculty. We offer a stimulating, collegial
environment that values a diversity of research approaches and topics, and
supports research efforts through the provision of student support, travel
funds, internal research grants, summer research support, an in-house
behavioral lab with capacity for both online and in-person studies, and a
teaching load conducive to effective scholarship.

Portland State University has been ranked by *U.S. News and World Report*
in the top 20 "most innovative" universities in the nation. The university
is dispersed over 49 acres of green space amidst the cultural and business
center of downtown Portland. Portland is a thriving city of natural beauty
considered to be a model for livability, environmental stewardship, and new
urbanism principles. Portland is consistently ranked as one of the “best
places to live” in the U.S., and is located within a 90-minute drive of
