The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University invites applications for a clinical assistant professor (non-tenure-track) position in business analytics to start in the Summer of 2023. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in areas such as analytical modeling, data mining, data visualization, advanced statistical methods and/or database management, but candidates with expertise in other areas of analytics will be considered. Strong candidates will have proficiency in relevant programming languages (R, Python), databases and database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop), business intelligence platforms, and analytic software. Our department and the Department of Statistical Science will be launching a new MS in Business Analytics degree in the summer of 2023. The successful candidate will be supporting that degree program. Candidates should be devoted to excellence in teaching with an interest in using technology in the classroom. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
