These are 9-month, tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor and the Assistant/ Associate Professor level in the Department of Business Information Systems and Analytics (BISA). The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent competency utilizing innovative pedagogical techniques to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Business/Data Analytics, Information Systems, & Information Technology. Candidates should have experience with applying data analytics/ data science skills, techniques, and applications in a variety of topic areas, such as business, healthcare, sports, etc. Candidates will be expected to teach face-to-face and online classes.

The BISA Department is housed in the AACSB-accredited Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University (NCAT). Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, NCAT is a public, doctoral/research, 1890 land-grant university.

The BISA department offers three degrees: BS in Business Information Technology (online and face-to-face), and BS in Management with a Management Information Systems concentration, and a BS in Business Analytics. The department is collaborating on an interdisciplinary MS degree in Data and Business Analytics with the Math and Computer Science departments.

--Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Business/Data Analytics, Decision Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution at the time of appointment.

Candidates should demonstrate the potential to establish a research record through publications in refereed journals, national and international conferences, book chapters, and other scholarly activities.

A strong foundation in business applications is preferred. Special consideration will be given to candidates with teaching and professional experience in business/data analytics area. Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in Analytics and Information Systems/Technology is preferred.

--Preferred Qualifications
A strong foundation in business applications is preferred. Special consideration will be given to candidates with teaching and professional experience in business/data analytics area. Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in Analytics and Academically qualified under SACS to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the Business Information Systems and Analytics department, primarily analytics, but also information systems and information technology.

Industry and professional certifications in the area of Analytics and Information Systems/Technology are encouraged.

A research pipeline illustrating potential with existing publications in related journals.
