7th Arab ICT Conference 2023 ; Call for Papers

You are kindly invited to contribute to the Arab ICT Conference 2023 (AICTC 2023). Please forward this to interested colleagues. AICTC 2023 is taking place on 6-7 December 2023 at the Kingdom of Bahrain - an exciting conference and exhibition with an emphasis on the “Digital Transformation for Sustainable Infrastructure”.

The 7th Arab ICT Conference aims to provide a platform for exchanging ideas, information, and experiences among academics, researchers, consultants, engineers, manufacturers, and decision-makers who seek to adopt emerging technologies to improve infrastructure delivery and operation. The conference will serve as a medium to discuss and evaluate the latest trends, opportunities, challenges, policies, and innovative technologies in infrastructure development.

CONFERENCE TRACKS:
Authors are invited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate emerging technologies, research results, projects, surveying works, and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following tracks:

TRACK 1: ICT FOR INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT
TRACK 2: ICT FOR SMART COMMUNITIES
TRACK 3: DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
TRACK 4: COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS:
RESEARCH PAPERS

The 2023 Arab ICT Conference is technically sponsored by IEEE and IET. Authors are invited to submit original research works related to the conference tracks. Submitted work should not have been published elsewhere and should not be intended to be published elsewhere during the review period. All papers must be submitted electronically through the EDAS conference management platform<https://edas.info/N30649> according to IEEE conference templates, which can be downloaded from here<https://www.ieee.org/content/dam/ieee-org/ieee/web/org/conferences/conference-template-a4.docx>. All submitted papers will undergo a blind review process by at least three reviewers. Conference proceedings will be submitted for publishing in IEEE Xplore digital library and indexed by SCOPUS. At least one author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference and present the paper at the conference venue. Non-adherence to this policy will result in the paper being dropped from the Conference Proceeding and will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore. Authors of selected papers presented at the conference will be invited to submit extended versions of their manuscripts for publication in selected international journals.

Using EDAS Platform

Upon completion of registration, you will get a notification email from the system and you are ready for submitting your paper. You can upload and re-upload the paper to the system by the submission due date.

Important Dates (Research Papers):
→ Paper Submission - 1 May 2023
→ Notification of Acceptance - 1 August 2023
→ Final Paper Submission - 1 September 2023

TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS

The conference committee welcomes submissions from individuals and organizations working in the ICT field. These submissions give more focus on practical applications, innovative solutions, case studies and best practices in the ICT field. Submissions in this category can take the form of a presentation or a demonstration related to the conference tracks. Authors are invited to submit abstracts of no more than 500 words describing the proposed work to be presented using the Online Abstract Submission Form. The abstract must include the title of the paper, the author’s name(s), and the affiliation(s) including email addresses. The selection of the submitted contribution will consider the originality, relevance, and likely interest to delegates. All submissions will undergo a double-blind review process.

At least one author of an accepted presentation is required to register for the conference and present their work at the conference venue. Non-adherence to this policy will result in the paper being dropped from the Conference Proceedings.
