The Daniels School of Business at Purdue University invites applications for one full-time lecturer faculty position in Management Information Systems (MIS) beginning in fall 2023.  Candidates must be comfortable teaching information systems/analytics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our courses are primarily focused on Business Analytics and Information Management (BAIM) and Integrated Business Engineering (IBE) students.

Duties include, for an academic year, 24 credit hour course teaching and nominal Department, School, or University service.

Salary and compensation are highly competitive and commensurate with the candidate's experience and achievements.

Qualified candidates must have:

  *   A Ph. D. in MIS, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely-related discipline. Candidates with a related Master's degree and substantial relevant experience may also apply.
  *   Passionate about teaching and evidence of teaching excellence at the college/university level.
  *   Strong ability to develop and organize experiential learning projects and events.
  *   Effective communication skills, particularly with colleagues and students.
  *   Industry experience/connection is a plus.
