Important Dates
Track Proposal Submission: March 6th, 2023
Launching Call for Papers: March 16th, 2023
Deadline for Paper Submission: April 30th, 2023
Notification of Acceptance: June 7th, 2023
Final Paper Submission: June 30th, 2023
Final Notification of Final Acceptance: July 10th, 2023

Submission of Track Proposals
Thank you for considering submitting a track proposal to the joint MCIS and MENACIS 2023 conference, scheduled to take place between September 7th and 9th, 2023 at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. In line with the joint conference's theme, "Bridging Communities in a Digital World", we invite submissions for track proposals that explore a wide array of topics around Information Systems (IS) and their organizational and societal impacts, including issues of unity and inclusion in an increasingly digital global environment. A General Track has already been established. Please use the template below to submit your track proposals to Konstantina.Valogianni at ie.edu<mailto:Konstantina.Valogianni at ie.edu> (subject line: "MCIS 2023 Track Proposal") by February 26th, 2023. The Programme Co-Chairs will select the tracks to ensure diversity and rigour. Certain tracks may be merged.
Topics of Interest
Established and emerging topics are welcome. Example topics include (but are not limited to):
* Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Algorithms for Research and Practice
* Bridging communities and governments with data
* Data Analytics in Healthcare
* Data for community-driven solutions in a variety of contexts, including the Global South
* Digital financial inclusion
* Digital immersive environments, including disability and minority communities
* Platform economy for sustainability, social good and digital development
Track Chair Responsibilities
Responsibilities include promoting the track to ensure at least 7 submissions per track, organizing a peer-review cycle with at least two reviewers for each submitted paper, and liaising with the Programme Co-Chairs for any organizational matters. At least one track chair is expected to attend the conference and chair their track's session(s).
