The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management in the School of
Business at the College of Charleston seeks qualified applicants for a
non-tenure-track full-time faculty position in Information Management,
starting in August 2023.
Ideal applicants will have a background in the areas of information
systems, business analytics, business statistics, and/or enterprise systems.
Main responsibilities include:
+++ Teaching undergraduate business courses in the areas of MIS, including
for example introductory courses in information systems, business
analytics, or business statistics. The teaching load for an instructor
position at the College of Charleston is typically four (4) courses per
semester (a total of 12 credit hours).
+++ Developing new courses as they relate to the strategic objectives of
the Department and the School by utilizing innovative teaching methods to
enhance the success of diverse learners.
+++ Participating in service activities, such as student mentoring and
committee assignments.
Preference will be given to candidates that are enthusiastic, collegial,
engaged with students, good communicators, and natural boundary spanners
within (supply chain and business analytics) and across departments.
