I hope this message finds you well. I am writing as a member of the senior
planning committee for the 2nd Annual Tenure Project Conference
<https://events.wharton.upenn.edu/tenure-project-conference-2023/>. The
priority application deadline is March 15, 2023. Further information is
below.

The Tenure Project offers a supportive environment where junior faculty are
welcomed and engaged in programs, events, and dialogues that address the
important issues affecting Black, Latinx, and Native junior faculty
obtaining tenure in US business schools. Building on the success of the
first Tenure Project Conference, this conference will focus on “learning by
doing.” The conference workshops will aim to build community, spur new
research and pedagogy, provide access and connection to resources, and
create intentional spaces for connection and information sharing.

*Important Conference Details*

The conference will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 through Wednesday, July
26, 2023 at The Wharton School in Philadelphia, PA.

**Applications are required but please note that the Tenure Project
Conference is *free* for all invited registrants. Lodging, meals, and a
modest travel stipend will be provided to junior faculty conference
attendees.

*Important Application Deadlines *

 Priority Deadline: March 15th, 5pm EST

Applications received between February 1, 2023 and March 15, 2023 will
receive full consideration to attend the 2023 Conference.

 Application Decisions and Conference Registration Invitations: March 16,
2023 and April 1, 2023

Applications received by the priority deadline will be notified of their
application status between March 16 and April 1.

Conference Registration Closes: May 1, 2023, 5pm EST

Attendees who have been invited to register must submit their registration
form by the May 1st deadline. After which time, we will release invited
attendees spots to those on the waitlist.

Regarding Applications Received After the Priority Deadline:

If you submit an application after the March 15th priority deadline, you
will automatically be added to a waitlist for conference attendance
consideration.

All waitlist decisions will be rendered after the conference registration
deadline of May 1st.

All waitlist decisions consider your application AND whether space is still
available.
