Dear Potential Contributor,
We would like to cordially invite you to submit a chapter proposal for our new book on Blockchain which aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Blockchain technology and its applications. This book, titled “Handbook of Blockchain Technology” will be published by Edward Elgar Publishing and its chapters will be indexed by Thomson Reuters’ Book Citation Index and Scopus.
We are looking for chapters that cover the following topics:
* Blockchain and digital currencies disruption and impact
* Blockchain and FinTech, NeoBanks, InsuranceTech,
* Central Banks Digital Currencies (CBDCs)
* Tokenization
* Blockchain, NFTs and the Metaverse
* Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
* DApps, DAOs and algorithmic governance
* Blockchain from a technical perspective: consensus algorithms, smart contracts, interoperability, scalability, security, standards and open issues
* Convergence with AI, A/VR, IoT and other technologies
* Blockchain challenges for adoption, resistance to change, project management, risk management, Human resource management,
* Blockchain best practices
* Legal and regulatory aspects, RegTech, AML and KYC cases in Blockchain
* Fraud, crime prevention and financial crime investigation in Blockchain
* Blockchain cases from various sectors including but not limited to public domain, Blockchain for development, education, land registry, real estate, smart cities, food safety, agriculture, healthcare, energy, shipping, supply chain management, betting and gambling, gaming industry, Blockchain National strategies.
Important dates:
* April 15 2023: Abstract submission
* April 25 2023: Notification of acceptance
* July 15 2023: Chapter submission
* August 31 2023: Camera ready submission
* May 2024: Book publication
