In this workshop, we welcome new, original ideas from people in academia,
industry, government, and law enforcement who are interested in sharing
their results, knowledge, and experience on the design and implementation
of blockchain-based solutions in different cyber security and forensics
applications.
We welcome contributions from the following fields:
- Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Blockchain-based cyber security solutions
- Artificial intelligence (AI) for blockchain security (e.g. adversarial
machine learning, machine and/or deep learning techniques)
- Blockchain-based secure edge computing
- Detection and analysis of advanced threat tactics, techniques and
procedures
- Security and privacy in blockchain and edge computing
- Security model, framework, and mechanisms for blockchain systems
- Zero trust
- Blockchain-based forensics solutions
- Anti-forensics techniques and solutions for/in blockchain systems
- Digital evidence recovery, storage, preservation, and memory analysis
in blockchain systems
- Event reconstruction approaches and techniques for/in blockchain
systems
- Forensic investigations for/in blockchain systems
- Legal implications
- Malware analysis and the investigation of targeted attacks targeting
blockchain systems
- Privacy implications related to security incident response and digital
forensic investigations
- Situational awareness related to security incident response
- The above list is suggestive, and authors are encouraged to contact
the mini-track chairs to discuss related topics and their suitability for
submission to this workshop.
*Publication*
Accepted and presented technical papers will be submitted for publication
by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.
Workshop Papers will be published as a part of the ICDF2C Conference
Proceedings. Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in leading
indexing services, including Ei Compendex, ISI Web of Science, Scopus,
CrossRef, Google Scholar, DBLP, as well as EAI’s own EU Digital Library
(EUDL).
*Paper submission*
Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+ <https://confyplus.eai.eu/>‘
system, and have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit
section
<https://icdf2c.eai-conferences.org/2023/blockchain-for-cyber-security-and-forensics/#authorskit>
).
- Papers should be *6-11* pages in length.
All conference papers undergo a thorough peer review process prior to the
final decision and publication. This process is facilitated by experts in
the Technical Program Committee during a dedicated conference period.
Standard peer review is enhanced by EAI Community Review which allows EAI
members to bid to review specific papers. All review assignments are
ultimately decided by the responsible Technical Program Committee Members
while the Technical Program Committee Chair is responsible for the final
acceptance selection. You can learn more about Community Review here
<https://help.eai-conferences.org/conference/community/community-review/>.
