Dear all,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention a PhD opportunity in the field of Non-Intrusive AI for Edge Computing, which will be conducted at the CITI-Lab in Lyon, France, in collaboration with several partner institutions that are part of the PEPR eNSEMBLE (https://pepr-ensemble.fr <https://pepr-ensemble.fr/>).
The project focuses on developing non-intrusive methods for collaborative intelligence on edge devices, with a specific focus on federated learning. The aim is to overcome the challenges of low carbon footprint, non intrusive and privacy concerns that often arise when executing AI on edge devices by developing new algorithms and techniques for federated learning and collaborative intelligence.
The project will involve the development of new models and optimization techniques for collaborative learning on edge devices.
The successful candidate will work with a team of experts in the field and will have access to state-of-the-art research facilities and resources at the CITI-Lab (https://www.citi-lab.fr <https://www.citi-lab.fr/>).
This fully-funded PhD position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in collaborative workspaces, AI, edge computing, and federated learning to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of non-intrusive AI for edge computing.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development of collaborative and privacy-preserving AI solutions for edge devices.
Applicants should hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field and have a strong background in AI, edge computing, and federated learning. Familiarity with non-intrusive methods for collaborative workspaces is a plus.
The deadline for applications is May 5th, 2023.
Please feel free to share this opportunity with anyone you think may be interested. The link to the full details can be found here:
