We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Junior Faculty and Doctoral Consortium being held at the upcoming MCIS and MENACIS 2023 joint conference. The 15th Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems and the 6th Middle East & North Africa Conference on Digital Information Systems will take place in Madrid, Spain, hosted by IE Business School, IE University, on September 6-9, 2023. The Junior Faculty and Doctoral Consortium (JFDC) will take place at the beginning of the conference, on September 6th and 7th.

The JFDC aims to support doctoral students and researchers at the early stage of their careers in the fields of Business, Management, and Information Systems in order to develop effective career plans based on their personal and professional goals. More specifically, the JFDC has three primary objectives:

· to provide students and early-stage researchers with networking opportunities with peers and faculty members

· to support students and early-stage researchers in strategizing about their research, dissertation, teaching, and career plans

· to reflect on academic career aspirations and dynamics

The program includes parallel panels and workshops. Students and early-stage researchers will be split into small groups based on their research focus and their career stage in order to promote collaboration. Each panel will involve multiple faculty members and students with a goal of having a 1:1 ratio of faculty mentors to junior faculty and doctoral students.
