The MIS Department at the University of Arizona is looking for multiple
visiting and adjunct faculty for the 2023-2024 academic year. Our target

With a strong national and international reputation as an agile, innovative,
and research oriented department, MIS is well poised to meet the challenge
of serving the evolving research, learning, service, and teaching needs of a
premier 21st century discipline.

The MIS Department is one of the six academic departments in the Eller
College of Management at the University of Arizona. Founded in 1974, the
department was a pioneer in defining and advancing the field of Information
Systems. Since its inception, the MIS Department has made outstanding
contributions to the field, both by creating relevant and impactful research
and by offering leading edge educational programs. The department has
well-established and highly successful research centers that have generated
over $200M in funded research projects since the 1980's. MIS faculty members
have also been successful with technology transfer initiatives through
successful commercialization of their research. The department has been
ranked in the top 5 in the field of information systems for over 30 years.

The MIS Department offers undergraduate, masters, and PhD programs in MIS.
Over 5,000 students, including 250 PhD students, have graduated from these
programs. US News & World Report currently ranks the undergraduate program
#5 and the MS program #3 among all universities. The MIS Department is also
home to multiple research centers including the Artificial Intelligence Lab,
the Center for the Management of Information, and the INSITE Business
Intelligence and Analytics Center.

The MIS Department supports and practices Inclusive Excellence, which values
diversity, equity and inclusiveness in teaching, research, and community
service. For this position, the department is seeking strong, experienced
candidates who are committed to work with diverse students and colleagues
and have experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular
