Duties and responsibilities:
As a faculty member at ESCP's Berlin campus, you will work closely with
course coordinators and other faculty members to provide exceptional
teaching. You will be responsible for developing teaching materials,
methods, and assessments. Your duties will include marking assignments and
providing feedback to students.
We are looking for candidates who are capable of teaching courses such as:
• Information Systems
• Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine
Learning
• Managerial Decision Making and Modeling, Blockchain Technology, and
Cybersecurity,
• Operations Management
• Supply Chain Management
• Circular Economy/Sustainability
Teaching at ESCP is organized such that candidates for this position are
expected to teach a maximum of 315 hours/academic year on a full-time
basis, with part-time arrangements also possible. Additionally, you will be
responsible for supervising eight bachelor's and master's theses per
academic year. If you take on additional supervision responsibilities, your
teaching hours may be reduced accordingly.
While research output is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged and
financially rewarded.
Candidate requirements:
• We are seeking applicants who have completed their PhD and have a keen
interest in conducting research in their area.
• The candidate should be highly motivated and willing to teach at both
undergraduate and postgraduate levels, utilizing interactive teaching
methods. The candidate should be capable of designing theory-driven course
content that incorporates practical examples. We welcome candidates who
have experience and a passion for technology enhanced learning practices,
as they will be responsible for independently designing online teaching
materials as well.
• Candidates must be fluent in English.
• We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, knowledgeable,
and enthusiastic about teaching and research in their specific field of
study, and who will work diligently to ensure that students receive a
high-quality education.
