We are pleased to invite junior faculty and doctoral students to the Junior Faculty and Doctoral Consortium which will take place on September 6th and 7th in Madrid, Spain just ahead of the MCIS and MENACIS joint conferences hosted by IE Business School, IE University.

The MCIS and MENACIS Junior Faculty and Doctoral Consortium (JFDC) aims to support doctoral students and researchers at the early stage of their careers in the fields of Business, Management, and Information Systems in order to develop effective career plans based on their personal and professional goals. More specifically, the JFDC has three primary objectives:

· to provide students and early-stage researchers with networking opportunities with peers and faculty members

· to support students and early-stage researchers in strategizing about their research, dissertation, teaching, and career plans

· to reflect on academic career aspirations and dynamics

The program includes parallel panels and workshops. Students and early-stage researchers will be split into small groups based on their research focus and their career stage in order to promote collaboration. Each panel will involve multiple faculty members and students with a goal of having a 1:1 ratio of faculty mentors to junior faculty and doctoral students.

Please visit the main conference website and the JFDC webpage for additional details on the consortium and to apply.
