At the turn of the 21st century, Wanda Orlikowski and Steve Barley urged scholars of organizations and information systems to learn more from each other to understand how technologies are changing the world. They have joined forces again to curate a virtual special issue: "Technologies change, the charge remains the same." Read their reflections and ten exemplar papers in our ASQ-MISQ virtual collection! https://www.misqresearchcurations.org/asq-misq-curations/

The articles cover topics such as Human Agency and Materiality, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and Professional Expertise, Platforms as Market Intermediaries, Online Communities, and Technology and Professional Jurisdictions. This interdisciplinary collaboration between ASQ and MISQ originated from a conversation between journal editors hosted by the Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) network.

Finally, I'll add that it was a complete joy working collaboratively on this curation with Christine Beckman, Editor-in-Chief of ASQ, and the incomparable team of Steve Barley and Wanda Orlikowski. We'd like to think this is a great example of journals working across fields on topics that matter greatly for the world. Congrats and big thanks to all the authors involved.
