***CALL FOR PAPERS***

The 48th IEEE International Conference on Computers, Software, and Applications (COMPSAC 2024) will be held in Osaka, Japan, on July 2-4, 2024. The conference theme is Digital Development for a Better Future.  Digital Development at COMPSAC 2024 will focus on research and development of computing technologies for their eventual integration into all aspects of society. COMPSAC 2024 will bring together researchers, developers, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide to discuss their latest advances in their fields and the challenges they face.

Examples of those fields include but are not limited to content in the Symposia tracks: computer architectures and platforms, computing education and learning technologies, data sciences, analytics and technologies, emerging advances in technologies and applications, human computing and social computing, IT in practice, mobile, wearable and ubiquitous computing, networks, communications, internet and web technologies, smart and connected health, security, privacy and trust in computing, software engineering technologies and applications, and smart IOT systems and applications.

Submissions are invited for new and previous workshops in content areas such as:

•     Advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning
•     Artificial intelligence for intelligent network management

•     Data science and machine learning for cybersecurity, IOT and digital forensics
•     Digital twins for metaverse
•     eHealth systems and web technologies
•     Rising ICT solutions for smart grids as multi-energy systems
•     Medical computing
•     Modeling and verifying distributed-embedded applications
•     Network technologies for security, administration and protection
•     Open Education Resources
•     Quality oriented reuse of software
•     Security aspects in processes and services engineering
•     Smart computing and applications
•     Secure digital identity management
•     Software engineering for smart systems
•     Smart IOT sensors and social systems for eHealth and well-being applications
•     Smart and sustainable mobility and logistics in smart cities
•     Software test automation
•     Security, trust, and privacy for software applications
•     Workflows in distributed environments
•     Autonomous systems

Submissions may be in the form of long or short papers, posters, abstracts, and the unique J/C format. J/C submissions will describe unpublished extensions to previously published work. Overall, the essential goal of the conference is to promote the development of responsible and sustainable digital technologies to improve our lives and build a better future.
