[AISWorld] System for tracking student research and its supervision

Good evening,

 

I'm working with a project where we'd like to track all student research and
its supervision. We'd like to have visibility into when students submit work
for faculty to review, and when the faculty member responds.

 

In many ways it could function in the same way as a journal submission and
editorial review process.

 

Due to the economics (institution is in a developing country), open
source/free is ideal. 

 

Any examples, ideas and suggestions for this are appreciated.
