Postdoctoral Research Associate in Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics (IOSA) – Department of Business Administration, Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
The Gies College of Business, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign is seeking to fill a postdoctoral research associate position doing research in Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics (IOSA).
Successful candidates will collaborate with the IOSA area and other affiliated faculty, advance their own existing research initiatives, and interact with other departmental postdocs. They will also supervise research assistants and teach in the Gies College of Business.
The postdoctoral position is a one-year appointment expected to begin in August 2024 and renewable for a second year. Successful candidates will have completed a Ph.D. in Business Administration, or a related field noted below prior to the position’s start date. Demonstrated interest and expertise in information systems, operations, business analytics and/or computer science are required. Candidates with prior training in empirical research methods and machine learning, and research domain of recommendation systems, bias in algorithms, and/or sustainability are preferred. A record of published papers is preferred but not necessarily required.

SALARY AND APPOINTMENT INFORMATION
This is a 9-month, 100%-time postdoctoral position. Salary is commensurate with experience. The expected start date is August 16, 2024.
