[AISWorld] ICIS 2024 CFP: Data Analytics for Business and Societal Challenges

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce the call for submissions for an inspiring track at the upcoming conference: Data Analytics for Business and Societal Challenges (https://icis2024.aisconferences.org/.../track.../...<https://icis2024.aisconferences.org/submissions/track-descriptions/?fbclid=IwAR2FiF-sehmIGyIVn7m-jiVoOqjzAdQ6SDN0fSKiVf1eA2fCxmarAbj3F-A#toggle-id-13>). This track aims to spotlight contemporary research that leverages novel data science and analytics methods to tackle real-world problems, making significant impacts on business practices and society.

The track chairs are Esko Penttinen<https://www.aalto.fi/en/people/esko-penttinen> from Aalto University, Chuan Hoo Tan<https://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/disa/people/tancho/> from the National University of Singapore, and Jingjing Li<https://www.commerce.virginia.edu/faculty/jl9rf> from the University of Virginia.

- Information visualization and presentation of complex, controversial data

- Social networks and contact tracing and relevant privacy challenges
- Societal aspects around data (data monetization, information businesses, and data products)
- Unstructured data analysis (e.g., text, image, audio, video) to address business and/or societal challenges
