The primary objectiveof this minitrack is to stimulate and foster research endeavors spanning thedomains of Internet of Things (IoT), drones, smart remote sensing, computerimaging, data analysis, as well as machine learning and deep learning withinthe context of smart farming. 

Typical themes thatare expected for contributions to the minitrack include (but are not limitedto):

·       Precision irrigation decision system

·       Fertilization decision system

·       Early disease detection

·       Semantic technologies for smartagriculture/farming

·       Machine learning and deep learning modelsfor smart agriculture

·       Blockchain based solution for smartagriculture

·       IoT-based solutions, robotics andautomation for farmers

·       Explainable artificial intelligence modelsfor smart farming

·       Smart Farming for Food Safety

High quality andrelevant papers will be fast tracked for consideration of publication in theInternational Journal ofNeural Computing and Applications (Q1). Authors will be notified during or shortlyafter the HICSS conference about this opportunity. If interested, they willneed to extend the manuscript in content and length by at least 30%, change thepaper’s title, and make sure that the manuscript is in line with therequirements for standard research articles published in this journal.
