Dear Colleagues,

I cordially invite you to contribute a chapter to the Research Handbook on
Platform Ecosystems, which will be published by Edward Elgar Publishing.
Details are as follows.

*Objective*
The emergence of platform ecosystems has spawned a robust stream of
literature and a vibrant community of research. Much research in this area
has been dedicated to topics such as meta-organization design, coordination
mechanisms, ecosystem value co-creation mechanisms, fair value
appropriation, and architectural principles. Platform ecosystems represent
an area of significant interest for researchers, policymakers, and
practitioners alike. As these interests continue to evolve and expand,
there is a pressing need for a cohesive resource that synthesizes existing
knowledge, identifies key research gaps, and offers insights into future
directions. This handbook aims to address this need by bringing together
contributions from leading scholars and experts in the field.

*Information for Contributors*

The handbook will be published by EDWARD ELGAR PUBLISHING LIMITED and will
be included in its *Research Handbooks in Business and Management series*

Strategy

interest by contracting Dr. Peng Huang, Robert H. Smith School of Business,

of up to 250 words describing the nature of the proposed contribution. The
editor(s) of the handbook will do a preliminary screening of the abstract
and then send out a formal invitation with further details of contribution
guidelines. The contributing author(s) are expected to deliver a chapter of
7,000 to 9,000 words including references. Please note that the publisher
prefers to have a peer review process for quality assurance, so the
contributing author(s) will peer review each other’s chapters (up to two
chapters) and make constructive suggestions for improvements as a way of
further increasing the coherence and integration of the book.
